Nidhogg is 5 star creature from the Neander faction. He's one of the 5 star cards that is commonly found in many player's decks because they can get him from many sources. His number one role is a Support for Neander deck as a health buffer with Earth Totem 10 and also to control the board with Delay 3. Unfortunately though, just like many other support cards, his presence is diminished with only one Nidhogg on the battlefield.

Strategies and Tactics
Edit
The first rule in using Nidhogg is that the player has to place him in a Neander deck (not full of them but mostly Neander). This will allow his Earth Totem 10 to pump up your Neander creatures' health by 500. The second rule is to place more than one Nidhogg in your deck because when they all played together, the other Neander creatures get boosts of health from multiple Nidhoggs. This means that if two Nidhoggs are played together, you get a 1000 HP boost to all your Neander creatures. However, if you don't have many copies of Nidhogg, you can replace him with Icy Huntress, since she's basically the 4 star version of Nidhogg, but weaker.
The downside of playing multiple Nidhoggs is his skill, Delay. It is a powerful skill which can seal three opponent creatures on the field at the same time, but if you play more than one Nidhogg, there's a possibility to seal the same creature twice, since the target(s) of Delay is random.
